Louisiana State Meet XC Recap 2017Published by
By Mary Albl of DyeStat Fontainebleau High senior Adam Wise collected his first individual state cross country title in fast fashion. Tuesday, during the final day of the Louisiana cross country championships at Northwestern State in Natchitoches, Wise clocked 15 minutes, 20.5 seconds on the 3-mile course to claim the 5A crown. It was the fastest time of the two-day meet. The Catholic High boys team won the 5A team crown with 77 points, the Bears' first state title since 2011. It is Catholic's 17th title in program history under coach Pete Boudreaux. Catholic placed all five runners in the top 25. Team Champions
